Toggle Add AI commentary in the Owner Statements panel before sending test or send-all. Each landlord gets a personalized 2-3 sentence paragraph based on what actually happened at their property that period.
What the AI sees
- The computed statement dict (rent collected, expenses, occupancy, net to owner)
- Recent maintenance request titles for color (not data-dump)
- Prior-period comparison numbers when available
What gets generated
- Narrative — 2-3 sentences. Warm but professional. Leads with the actual headline. Never fabricates numbers.
- Opportunities — 0-3 forward-looking notes ("lease ending in 60 days — recommend renewal at 3-4% bump"). Only if data supports it.
- Trend note — one line comparing this period to last when delta is meaningful.
Safety
- Off by default — flip the toggle per send
- Test send delivers to your own inbox first
- If drafter fails, statement still sends with original numbers-only template
